Dr Pryde attended medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine. After graduating in the upper third of his class, he completed his internship at Methodist Hospital of Memphis, TN and completed his residency at University of California, Irvine as Chief Resident. Since residency, Dr. Pryde has sought ought additional and advanced technique training specifically in cosmetic and therapeutic uses of neurotoxins such as Botulinum toxin A (Botox) and Botulinum toxin B (Myobloc) from both dermatologists and plastic surgeons. His training and experience has led him to be invited to and participated in Allergan's (the manufacturer of Botox) Institute of Distinction at the Allergan headquarters in Irvine, CA.

Currently Dr. Pryde is the Clinical Chief of the Department of Rehabilitation at Cedars Sinai Medical Center and is in private practice in Los Angeles. He has also been the interim Medical Director of the Rehabilitation service at Cedars Sinai Medical Center.
